Retail MotorThe Retail Motor Industry Task Force ceased formal operations in August 2002. It produced a final report in October 2002. The Task Force developed careers materials and a web site as part of the implementation of the Action Plan. The Task Force proposes to continue work through a project which will focus on people with transferable skills from other industries. This project will target skilled people from non-traditional sources and provide them with ‘top-up’ technical training as required in order to meet the skill needs of the Automotive Retail and Service Repair (RSR) sector.
